The History

Troedrhiwfuwch, known as 'Troedy' locally, was once a thriving mining village in the Rhymney valley, situated between Pontlottyn & Tirphil. Then in the 1980s the whole village was condemned and abandoned due to fear of landslips, now only two houses and the war memorial stand to mark this lost village.

Vanished Wales

Troedrhiwfuwch took part in Series 2 of the ITV Programme

The Hamlet Of Sebastopol
